DescriptionThe whole story▼

Racing teams that run a Suzuki DL650 V-Strom and want to explore every option for the front brake can try Accossato's ceramic mixture. AGPA94 in ZXC ceramic racing form is the right-hand front pad for the V-Strom 650 from 2004 to 2024. It belongs in the pit box, where mechanics and riders adjust the machine session by session and compare how different pads behave on a given circuit.

Key Features

  • Right front caliper pads for the Suzuki DL650 V-Strom, 2004 to 2024
  • ZXC ceramic racing mixture, SKU AGPA94ZXC
  • A ceramic compound ideal for racing, says Accossato
  • For pit-lane testing and set-up changes
  • Needs AGPA95 on the left side
  • DL 650 V-Strom XT from 2015 to 2024 covered
  • Rear partner: AGPP88
  • No ABE held; competition only

Construction and Material Quality

ZXC is the ceramic mixture in Accossato's range, and the manufacturer calls it ideal for racing. It is the most focused of the five compounds made on this right-hand plate. Accossato adds its general promises of limited wear, controlled heat against fade and strong stopping power.

Set-up Notes from the Pit Box

When a team swaps to ZXC on a V-Strom 650, it helps to change one thing at a time. Run a session on the known pads, then fit the ceramic set, keep tyre pressures and suspension settings the same and let the rider report on lever feel, initial bite and how the brake releases at the apex. Mechanics should note the lever position, the fluid condition and the pad thickness before and after each outing. Keep the new pads away from oily hands and tools, clean the pistons before pushing them back, and pump the lever several times before the bike leaves the garage.

Change both front sides together, because two different compounds on one axle make the front brake feel uneven. If the ceramic set does not suit the rider or the circuit, return to the previous pads and write down why, so the next test starts from firmer ground.

Fitment and Compatibility

AGPA94 fits the right-hand front caliper of the V-Strom 650, and its left-hand counterpart is AGPA95. Accossato lists the DL 650 V-Strom from 2004 to 2024 and the XT from 2015 to 2024. The same right plate comes in OR, ST, EV1 and EV2.

Road Approval

No German approval mark or test report for AGPA94ZXC is available to us. The pads are intended for closed-course racing.

Scope of Delivery
