DescriptionThe whole story▼
The rear brake on a cross-country bike does a lot of quiet work: controlling speed on long descents, tightening lines through trees and holding the bike on steep slopes. Accossato's AGPP106 rear pad in the Organic mixture fits the Kawasaki KX450X from 2021 to 2024. It is aimed at trail riders and relaxed cross-country enthusiasts who want a soft, progressive pedal and pads that last, while keeping wear on the rear disc low.
Key Features
- Rear pads AGPP106 for the Kawasaki KX450X, 2021 to 2024

- Accossato: long life and little disc wear
- Soft, progressive rear pedal
- Well suited to long descents at a steady pace

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato promises two main qualities from this compound: a long service life and limited wear on the disc. On the rear of a KX450X, which is used almost constantly on technical trails, those properties translate into fewer pad changes and a rear rotor that lasts longer. Accossato designs all its pads to control heat and fade while providing solid stopping. The organic material is bonded to the standard AGPP106 plate.
Controlling Long Descents
On long, steep descents, the rear brake helps keep the KX450X stable and under control. The rider needs to apply it gently and consistently, without locking the wheel on loose rocks or wet roots. A soft, progressive pad makes that fine control easier, especially for riders still learning technical terrain.
The rear caliper sits low and collects mud and grit. After each ride, clean it, check that the pads move freely and look at the disc for wear. If the pedal feels soft, check the fluid level in the rear reservoir and bleed the brake if needed.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPP106 for the rear of the Kawasaki KX450X from 2021 to 2024. At the front, the 2021 to 2023 bikes use AGPA51, and the 2024 model uses AGPA29. The Accossato disc catalogued for this Kawasaki is DK060. One box contains the pair for the single rear caliper. Compare the shape of your old pads with the new ones.
Road Approval
We hold no ABE or German approval document for AGPP106OR. It is intended for off-road competition.
