Reservoir caps carry the gas valve and are torqued to a specification. Hose length is part of the installation and cannot be substituted freely. Fittings are specific to the hose and the housing they connect.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise.

Identifying the Right Part

The reliable route is the exploded drawing: find the position, read the number, order it — 00637-02 in this case. dimension a 10 mm, dimension b 10 mm, dimension c 230 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Hose length is specific to the installation and cannot be substituted freely. The reservoir holds the gas charge and the oil volume the damper displaces as the shaft enters it.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00637-02

Category: Hoses

Dimension A: 10 mm

Dimension B: 10 mm

Dimension C: 230 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00637-02_da7d429b-1df3-46f5-aaaf-e6b7ecdd56ff.png?v=1788869982
