DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Leatt Hydration MTB Enduro Race 1.5 is a minimal hydration pack for enduro stages and fast trail rides, where every gram on your back and every bit of movement counts. A 1.5 L horizontal bladder sits low, and 2 L of cargo space hold the basics.
This listing is the Ghost Black version, a dark, plain colour that suits any kit and does not draw attention to the pack in race photos.
Chest harness instead of a hip belt
Leatt holds the Enduro Race 1.5 in place with an adjustable, lightweight chest harness. There is no waist strap, so nothing presses on your stomach when you get low over the bars on a steep section, and the pack still sits without bouncing.
The size range covers XS to XXL through adjustment. The pack also works with a Leatt neck brace, and equally well without one. Leatt engineered pack and brace to be worn together, so you do not have to choose between hydration and neck protection on a long stage.
Hydration and cargo
The included 1.5 L bladder is horizontal, which keeps the water weight low and close to your back. An auto-shutoff bite valve stops drips between sips. A magnetic tube holder clips the hose to either the left or the right shoulder strap, so you choose which hand reaches for it.
The 2 L cargo compartment takes a tube, a mini pump and a tool. If a race day gets long or hot, an optional 2 L vertical bladder fits into this compartment for extra water. It is sold separately.
Ventilation and temperature
The AirLine back panel is shaped to let air move between pack and jersey, which helps on long climbs between stages. Inside, a heat-reflective panel keeps the drink cooler for longer in summer and slows down cooling on cold mornings.
Visibility and material
A reflective patch on the back carries a slot for an optional rear light, useful on the road home after dusk. The fabric mix is 65% nylon, 20% polyester and 10% TPU for bladder and valve, plus 5% foam, rubber and magnets. The complete pack weighs 750 g.
What you should know
- With 2 L of cargo space, this is a race pack. A rain jacket plus tools will fill it, so for long day tours look at the Mountain Lite or XL models.
- The optional 2 L vertical bladder takes up the cargo space it sits in.
- There is no hip belt by design. Riders who prefer a waist strap for heavy loads will find the chest harness lighter but less suited to big loads.
- No back protector is included or integrated.
