DescriptionThe whole story▼
Removing a Panigale's fairing and fitting a handlebar produces a bike that is fast in a way the riding position does not prepare you for. The clutch, meanwhile, goes back to doing ordinary things: junctions, car parks, the crawl out of a busy paddock.
Key Features
- Phosphated pivot seat, free of play from new
- CNC-machined from solid aluminium, black anodised
- Milled Gilles face for a secure gloved grip
- Bolts to the original master cylinder without adapters
- Reach adjustable through 35 positions, set by hand
- Road legal in Germany under ABE No. KBA 91203
Machined and Treated
Solid aluminium, hard anodised, pivot bore phosphated in its own operation. Free of play. The lightness of a modern V4 clutch makes the position of the engagement point the dominant sensation, which is exactly what reach adjustment sets.
A Fast Bike Doing Slow Things
For all the aerodynamics, most of the left hand's work happens below twenty kilometres per hour. Setting the blade for that is more useful than setting it for anything the bike does at speed.
Wind and Grip Pressure
Without a fairing the airflow pushes the upper body back and the hands tighten on the bars. A lever the fingers can cover without stretching keeps that from turning into fatigue.
Road Approval
Road legal in Germany under ABE No. KBA 91203, downloadable from this page. No entry in the vehicle documents and no inspection are needed.
Scope of Delivery
