DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Husqvarna TE 300 is known for torque that lets it chug up almost anything, and many owners ride it at a relaxed pace, letting the engine do the work. For riders who use the bike like that, exploring hill trails or riding with a local club at weekends, Accossato makes the front pad AGPA29 in its Organic compound, SKU AGPA29OR. It covers model years 2014 to 2023, including the fuel-injected TE 300 i. The aim is a mild, predictable front lever and a disc that stays in good shape for a long time.

Key Features

  • Organic front pads for the Husqvarna TE 300 and TE 300 i
  • Model years 2014 to 2023, SKU AGPA29OR
  • Accossato mentions long service and reduced rotor wear
  • Mild bite that suits torque-driven, relaxed riding
  • Responds without warming up
  • Also listed with ST, STMX and EV1 lining
  • Off-road competition use

Construction and Material Quality

According to Accossato, the Organic lining lasts longer and puts less wear on the disc. A TE 300 ridden gently over long days benefits from that, because the front rotor sees constant light contact rather than occasional hard stops. The lining is fixed to the AGPA29 steel plate, identical in shape to the stock part, and Accossato also refers to strong deceleration without excessive heat build-up.

Letting the Torque Do the Work

A big two-stroke with plenty of low-end pull encourages a lazy, smooth riding style: short-shifting, rolling off early and using engine braking into turns. In that style the front brake is used lightly and precisely rather than grabbed. The Organic pad suits the TE 300 well here, offering a soft initial contact that builds gradually, so the rider can trim speed on a loose downhill without the front tyre tucking. It also works properly on the first loop of a cold morning.

Look at the pads whenever the front wheel comes off, and clean the disc with brake cleaner after the bike has been washed.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists AGPA29 for the front caliper of the Husqvarna TE 300 from 2014 to 2020 and of the TE 300 i from 2018 to 2023, which together cover 2014 to 2023. The rear takes AGPP80, and the brand also offers the discs DK017 and DK018. Compare the old pads with this set before fitting it to your TE 300.

Road Approval

We hold no ABE or test certificate for AGPA29OR, so it is sold for off-road competition.

Scope of Delivery
