DescriptionThe whole story▼
Built from 2022 to 2025, the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 has a lively triple and nimble handling that invite a brisk ride on a good road, and a trackday organiser's novice group is a natural next step for many owners. For them, Accossato lists front pad AGPA72 in its EV1 street/track compound. It offers a firmer, more immediate bite than the everyday compounds, suited to riders who brake later and harder and want the lever to respond without delay.
Key Features
- EV1 street/track front pad AGPA72
- For the Triumph Tiger Sport 660, 2022 to 2025
- Accossato: excellent grip for the road and for amateur track use
- Firm, immediate bite
- For brisk road riding and novice track days
- Two pads in the box, one front caliper
- Also made as OR, ST and EV2
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's summary of EV1 is excellent grip for street riding and amateur track use. It is designed to be used firmly and gives a more direct feel at the lever than the touring mixes. For its pads in general, Accossato names slow wear, resistance to fade through controlled heat and strong stopping power.
Learning to Brake Later
A light, agile middleweight like the Tiger Sport 660 is an excellent tool for improving riding skills. On a winding road or in a track-day novice group, much of that improvement comes from braking: learning to brake firmly and in a straight line, then releasing smoothly into the corner. A pad with a strong, predictable bite supports that learning, because the rider gets a clear response for each input. Before a track day, check pad thickness, disc condition and fluid; afterwards, let the brakes cool before parking. For everyday commuting, OR is gentler; for full race use, EV2. Many track-day organisers also run tuition in the novice group, and an instructor will often ask you to repeat the same braking exercise several times; a pad that responds identically each time makes their feedback far easier to act on.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA72 for the front of the Tiger Sport 660 from 2022 to 2025. There are two front calipers, so two boxes are needed. For the rear, Accossato offers AGPP89 for the same years. Clean the pistons before pushing them back and bed the pads in with a series of controlled stops.
Road Approval
We hold no German ABE or test mark for this pad. It is sold for track and competition riding.
