DescriptionThe whole story▼
The FlowTour 5.5 pant is Leatt's warm-weather adventure trouser. Large X-Flow mesh panels keep air moving around your legs, while the RipStop main fabric, leather knee panels and Level 2 armour keep the protection level at Class AA. In Stealth Black/Grey it matches the FlowTour 5.5 jacket via a long connection zip and gives a complete ventilated outfit for summer touring.
Key Features
- Permanent airflow through large X-Flow mesh panels
- Robust, abrasion-resistant Leatt RipStop main shell
- EN 17092-3:2020 Class AA
- 3DF hip protectors and knee guards, both EN 1621-1 Level 2
- Knee protectors adjustable in height by 5 cm
- Integrated belt with ratchet closure and two snap base positions
- Large waterproof pockets plus zipped hand-warmers
Ventilation
Instead of vents that need opening, the FlowTour pant is ventilated all the time. The mesh panels are combined with the RipStop main fabric, which covers the areas that slide on the ground in a crash. That makes it the pant for hot climates and long days in the saddle when a laminated pant would be too warm.
Knee Protector Position
Leatt makes the knee guards height adjustable by 5 cm so that the pad sits on the joint for both taller and shorter riders. Together with 3DF hip pads to Level 2 and Class AA certification of the whole garment, the pant offers proper protection despite its open construction.
Materials for Off-Road
Leather on the inside of the knees resists wear and helps you grip the bike with your legs. Heat-resistant panels on the lower inside of the legs protect against engine and exhaust heat, and the boot area is lined with a smooth, non-snagging material. Stretch zones at the knee, knee hollow, crotch and back yoke allow full movement when standing.
Closure and Adjustment
An integrated belt with a ratchet closes the front. Two snap base positions set the starting width and the ratchet handles the fine adjustment. A large hook-and-loop opening at the lower leg widens the pant for an over-the-boot fit. The pant is designed to work with an optional suspender set, and the main zips are YKK.
Pockets and Visibility
Large waterproof pockets keep a phone and documents dry even though the pant itself breathes freely, and zipped hand-warmer pockets add space for small items. Reflective details on the pant help you stay visible when you ride into the evening.
Size Guide Note
Leatt pairs each letter size with a US waist figure in inches (30 to 42) and an EU size, shown in the table below.
What you should know
The FlowTour 5.5 pant has no waterproof membrane and no thermal liner; only the pockets are waterproof. For rain you will need an over-pant such as the Leatt ADV Rain Cover. Suspenders are optional and not included. The pant weighs about 2,400 g. Leatt includes a 5-year warranty and plastic-free packaging.
Colour
Stealth Black/Grey is black throughout, with the leather knee panels showing in a sandy tan on the inside of the knees and a grey reflective strip across the back of the waist. The black hides dirt from trail and road, and the open mesh helps compensate for the warmth black fabric absorbs in the sun.
