DescriptionThe whole story▼

Brown is the earthy option in the Moto 3.5 range, on a pant built for durability: nylon reinforcement panels over a polyester chassis, multi-row stitching and YKK Japan zips.

It sits in Leatt's pre-curved classic fit, has 30% two-way stretch in its knit panels and repels dirt and water with a PFAS-free DWR C0 finish.

Key Features

  • Pre-curved classic fit shaped around the riding position
  • Knit stretch panels with 30% two-way stretch
  • Heat-proof leather panel on the right inner knee
  • Padded knee construction
  • DWR C0 water-repellent finish, PFAS(PFC)-free
  • Lined with mesh
  • Top-quality YKK zippers
  • Reinforced multi-row seams

Built to last

Leatt builds the chassis mostly from polyester and adds extra reinforcement in the critical areas, so the pant takes knocks from roost and ruts. Several rows of stitching hold the seams together instead of a single line. YKK Japan supplies the zips.

Coating and lining

The outer fabric carries a PFAS-free DWR C0 treatment that sheds dirt and splashes. Inside, a mesh lining helps manage moisture on hot motos. Fabrics meet OEKO-TEX, are tested under REACH and arrive without plastic packaging.

How it fits

Its cut is the classic Leatt fit, pre-curved so that standing and sitting both feel natural instead of pulling at the thighs. Knit stretch panels add mobility where you need it, and Leatt rates the stretch at 30% in two directions. A heavy-duty silicone strip runs all the way round the waistband, combined with a micro adjuster for a precise setting. In this colourway you can choose from XS up to 3XL.

Choosing your size

Each letter size corresponds to a US waist in inches and an EU size; check the size guide before ordering. The manufacturer weight is 900 g for size L. Besides this single pant, Leatt also offers the Moto 3.5 as part of a Ride Kit.

Where it fits

Leatt pitches the Moto 3.5 at motocross and off-road riders who want a balance of durability, flexibility and comfort rather than a featherweight race pant. Reinforcement sits exactly in the areas that wear first on a motocross pant.

Inner knee and padding

Inside, the knee area is padded. On the right inner knee a heat-proof leather layer sits on top of the multi-layer reinforcement.

What you should know

Expect water-repellence from the DWR C0 treatment, not waterproofing, since no membrane is built in. This is riding gear, not certified protective clothing: knee protection comes from guards or braces you wear underneath. Leather only sits on the right inner knee; the left inner knee relies on the layered reinforcement alone.

Colour

Despite the name, the main colour is a deep navy blue; brown comes in as tan side panels and tan lower legs below the knee, with a neon yellow Leatt logo on the rear yoke. The navy and tan mix looks calm and a little vintage, and the tan lower legs blend with dry dust.
