Intake, injection and exhaust were developed and homologated as one piece of engineering with a filter in the middle of them, and putting a different element into an unmodified airbox does not make a standard 698 Mono noticeably stronger. What changes is one maintenance item. Where a ride has left a film air will not lift, hand-warm water with a little mild detergent will, flushed until the run-off is clear. Drying then happens in moving air at room temperature and nothing warmer: a hot-air gun, a radiator or a flame finishes this polyester before anything looks wrong.
