DescriptionThe whole story▼
Wet motocross tracks make every input more delicate, and the rear brake of a two-stroke with little engine braking becomes a key tool. For the TM Racing MX 300 two-stroke from 2005 to 2025, Accossato's AGPP106 rear pad in the Sintered compound is designed to deliver a steady, predictable grip in the wet and at any temperature, so the rider can control the rear wheel with confidence.
Key Features
- AGPP106 rear pad for the TM Racing MX 300 2T, 2005 to 2025
- Sintered compound, article AGPP106ST
- High and constant grip hot or cold, according to Accossato
- Reliable on wet discs
- Predictable control on slippery ground
- OR and STMX as alternatives
- Two pads for the rear caliper
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes its Sintered compound as maintaining high and constant grip at low and high temperatures and performing well in wet conditions. On the rear of a two-stroke motocross bike, that gives a predictable response in all weather. Slow wear and fade resistance are further claims.
Rain on a Two-Stroke
In the rain, the MX 300 two-stroke's rear wheel slides more easily, and the lack of engine braking means the rider depends more on the rear brake. A pad that bites reliably on a wet disc and does not change behaviour as it warms up gives the rider a clear feel for how much rear brake the ground can take. The Sintered AGPP106 is designed for that. When sand or thick mud dominate, the STMX version is the off-road-specific alternative, and OR is the gentle option for dry tracks.
Wet Weekend Aftercare
Rinse the rear caliper gently after the race, let it dry and check the pad surface for embedded grit before the bike goes into the garage.
Pedal Technique in the Wet
On slippery ground, apply the rear brake of the MX 300 early and softly, before the corner rather than in it, and ease off as the bike tips in. A consistent pad makes that timing easier to learn, because the response to a given pedal pressure does not change from lap to lap.
Fitment and Compatibility
AGPP106 is catalogued by Accossato for the rear of the MX 300 two-stroke by TM Racing from 2005 to 2025. The front pad for this bike is AGPA29, listed from 1998. Pump the pedal after fitting until it is firm.
Road Approval
We have no ABE or test certificate for AGPP106ST. It is offered for off-road sport.
