DescriptionThe whole story▼
Riding a 125 two-stroke quickly is a lesson in keeping an engine on the boil. A Husqvarna TC 125 makes its power high in the rev range, so the rider works the clutch and gearbox constantly to keep it there, shifting up and down far more often than on a four-stroke. That makes the left foot one of the busiest parts of the rider's body, moving between peg and gear lever all lap long. For the TC 125 of 2016 to 2022, Accossato makes enlarged Ergal footpegs in orange or black.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato gives the FR798 a short description: enlarged footpegs in Ergal, meant for motocross, enduro and off-road motorcycles. Ergal is a high-strength aluminium alloy. The point of the enlarged size is a larger surface for the sole, one the boot can find again easily after it has left the peg. The pegs are sold as a left and right pair, and for this generation of the TC 125 there are two colours to choose from: orange and black.
The Busy Left Foot
On a 125 the gearbox is used almost everywhere. Out of a slow turn the rider may shift twice in a few metres; into a tight corner it can mean dropping two gears while braking. Each change is a small movement: the toe slides under the lever to shift up, or presses down to shift down, and then the foot returns to the peg. Done cleanly, it happens without the rider thinking about it. Done badly, with a foot that has to search for the peg or the lever, it costs time and upsets the balance of the TC 125.
The lever position is the key. Most riders like the lever tip to sit a touch under the toe cap when the foot rests on the peg, near enough to reach with a small movement but not so near that it gets knocked by accident. After fitting broader pegs, sit on the bike in riding boots and check this carefully, both seated and standing; if the lever needs moving, it can generally be refitted a spline further round. Do the same with the rear brake pedal on the right. Then ride a few laps and fine-tune until the shifts come without looking or hunting.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato has three footpeg sets for the TC 125, divided by model year, and the FR798 covers 2016 to 2022. The earlier 2014 and 2015 bikes use the FR795, while the TC 125 of 2023 to 2026 takes the FR809. Check the model year and compare the photos and colours before ordering; we will gladly help. The FR798 is also listed with us for the GasGas MC 250, the GasGas EC 300 and the Husqvarna FE 250.
Road Approval
These pegs have no ABE or other approval that we know of, so we offer them for competition.
