DescriptionThe whole story▼
This is the centre section of the belly pan, not the whole thing. It is the narrower panel that closes the middle of the assembly, and it is ordered separately from the main pan MD-XD16-C41. It is also an affordable way to refresh the most exposed part of the assembly without replacing everything.
Key Features
- Centre section only — the main belly pan is the separate order code MD-XD16-C41
- Four configurations: 200 Plain and 245 Twill, each in clear coat or matt
- Sits at the lowest point of the motorcycle, which is where stone damage concentrates
- Replaceable on its own, so a damaged centre does not mean buying the full pan again
- Uses the original mounting points and fasteners
The Part That Takes the Hits
Whatever the front wheel throws back travels along the underside of the motorcycle, and the centre of the belly pan is where most of it lands. That is why Fullsix tools it as a separate piece: it is the section most likely to need replacing, and replacing this smaller panel is a considerably better outcome than replacing the far more expensive belly pan.
Order it in the same weave and finish as the main pan if both are being fitted — the join between the two is visible and a mismatch in weave direction is immediately obvious. If only the centre is being replaced on an existing carbon pan, match what is already there rather than what is cheapest.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati XDiavel and XDiavel S, 2016 to 2024, on the original mounting points. Fitting it alongside the main pan is easier than adding it afterwards, because the panel gap can be set with both loose.
Road Approval
No ABE and no EC type-approval is published by Fullsix. This is a replacement body panel; confirm the position for your registration before road use.
Buying It as a Spare
There is a case for ordering this section alongside the main pan even if nothing is damaged. It is the piece that takes the stone strikes, it is the cheapest part of the assembly, and having a spare in the same weave from the same production run means a damaged centre can be swapped without a visible mismatch.
Whether that is worth it depends entirely on where the motorcycle is ridden. On smooth roads it is unnecessary; on anything with loose chippings in summer it is the panel most likely to need replacing first.
