DescriptionThe whole story▼
Six parts: the race cowl, both flanks, both printed wings and the side brackets that hold them. This is the front of the motorcycle on its own, for a bike that already has a race tail or one being taken apart in the order the budget allows.
Key Features
- Upper race fairing H25210AP with four Dzus quarter-turn fasteners
- Left and right side fairings, H25231AP and H25232AP, three Dzus each
- Both 3D-printed wings, 3DH25237 and 3DH25239
- Stainless side fairing brackets IN2501H, supplied as the pair
- Avio Fibre Prepreg, gloss black, unpainted
Ten Fasteners, One Front End
Four on the cowl and three on each flank is the whole front of the motorcycle held by ten quarter-turn fasteners. That number is the reason this set changes how a bike gets worked on rather than just how it looks. Access to the steering head, the loom, the top of the radiator and the front of the airbox stops being a job and becomes something you do between sessions because it takes a minute. On a machine the standard version of which is held together with trim clips and cross-head screws, that is the difference a rider feels every weekend.
The Usual Reason People Buy It
Front-end damage rarely reaches the tail. A bike that has been down at the front needs a nose and two flanks, and buying them as a matched set from one production run is faster, cheaper and better-fitting than ordering four panels separately and hoping the batches agree. Keeping this set on the shelf over a season is a defensible thing for a team to do.
What Is Not in It
The belly pan H25220AP and its IN2502H brackets are separate, and that matters for scrutineering: most circuit regulations require an oil-retaining lower fairing, so a bike running this set alone is not yet eligible to start. The tail, the seat and the dashboard holder are separate as well. The complete kit covers all of it if the whole conversion is happening at once.
Fitment
