DescriptionThe whole story▼
Winter training on a motocross track means cold air, frozen ruts in the morning and wet ground by lunchtime. For the TM Racing MX 250 two-stroke from 2001 to 2025, Accossato's AGPA29 front pad in the Sintered compound is designed for that range of conditions. It holds its grip at low and high temperatures and keeps biting on a wet disc, so the rider can concentrate on lines rather than on the brake.
Key Features
- AGPA29 front pad for TM Racing MX 250 2T, 2001 to 2025
- Sintered compound, article AGPA29ST
- High and constant grip hot or cold, per Accossato
- Reliable on wet discs
- Suited to winter and early-season training
- Alternatives: OR, STMX, EV1
- One set for the front caliper
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato says the Sintered mixture keeps a high, constant grip level at high and low temperatures and works well in the wet. On a two-stroke 250 used from winter to autumn, that means the front brake does not change character with the seasons. Accossato also claims slow wear and good resistance to fade.
Winter Training on the MX 250
Many riders use the off-season to build fitness and technique. The TM MX 250 two-stroke is ridden on cold, damp tracks, sometimes with frost in the shadows. A front pad that performs consistently at low temperatures helps from the first lap, when the disc is still cold. A sintered pad also keeps a good bite in rain and on wet ground. That gives the rider a stable reference for braking points throughout the winter. In heavy mud or on sand tracks, the STMX version of this plate is intended for off-road contamination.
Cold Starts
On a very cold morning, let the brakes warm up with a few gentle stops before the first hard lap, and check that the lever does not feel spongy, which can indicate moisture in old fluid.
Fitment and Compatibility
AGPA29 is listed by Accossato for the front of the TM Racing MX 250 two-stroke from 2001 to 2025. One box is needed for the single front caliper. The rear pad AGPP106 covers 2005 to 2025.
Road Approval
We hold no ABE or test certificate for AGPA29ST. The pad is intended for off-road sport.
Scope of Delivery
Two Sintered front pads for the MX 250 front caliper.
