DescriptionThe whole story▼
At the start of a motocross race, few riders have their feet on the pegs. On a GasGas MC 250F the boots are usually down at the gate, and within a few metres of the drop both have to find their pegs again while the bike accelerates hard towards the first turn. The first gear change follows almost at once. Accossato's enlarged footpegs made of Ergal are listed for the MC 250F of 2021 to 2023, in a choice of orange or black.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's own description reads: enlarged footpegs, made of Ergal, for motocross, enduro and off-road motorcycles. Ergal is a high-strength aluminium alloy. A larger peg needs no explanation beyond its purpose, which is to give the boot more surface to land on and rest on. You receive a pair, left and right, finished in orange or black, the colour being the variant you order for your MC 250F.
From the Gate to the Pegs
Start practice is routine for serious motocross riders, and the feet are part of it. As the gate drops, the rider stays seated and forward over the tank while the bike launches, then brings the feet up one after the other, usually within the first few metres. The left boot has to arrive in time for the change into second, the right to be ready for the brake before the first turn. Looking down for the pegs costs time and balance, so the movement has to become automatic.
That is why riders rehearse it: start, short sprint, feet up, change gear, brake, turn, and again, until none of it needs thinking about. A broader peg is easier to find blind. On the MC 250F, whose four-stroke engine needs revs and a quick first shift, a start in which the left foot lands on its peg first time can decide whether the rider arrives at the first turn at the front of the pack or somewhere in the middle.
Fitment and Compatibility
The MC 250F from 2021 to 2023 is listed by Accossato for this set, and our garage entry follows those years. No other Accossato footpeg is listed for it. The same pair appears in our shop for the MC 450F, the EC 250 and the Husqvarna FC 450. Fit the pegs with the bike's original pins and springs if these are in good order, and set the gear lever so its tip sits just under the boot when the foot rests on the peg.
Road Approval
We hold neither an ABE nor any other test document for this set, so it is sold for racing.
