Thread pitch is specific to the tube — caps are not interchangeable between units. The cap seals against an O-ring, so its face finish matters. Top eyes with an integrated preload adjuster are listed as one part.

Why the Original

Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier.

Getting the Number Right

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 15447-05. The published dimensions are dimension a 1 mm, dimension b 11.4 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. Eye width and bore diameter both have to match the chassis mount. The spherical bearing in an end eye lets the damper follow the linkage without side load.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 15447-05

Category: End Caps

Dimension A: 1 mm

Dimension B: 11.4 mm

Thread: M54x1

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/15447-05_984d8db7-ec7e-43f5-9033-190177aa8705.png?v=1788878852
