Inner tubes carry a low-friction coating; once it is through, the seals wear quickly. Top caps carry the adjusters and the preload mechanism. Axle clamps and lower legs are machined to hold the axle without distorting the fork.

Why the Original

A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. Öhlins numbers do not follow a logic you can guess — always read them from the documentation. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise.

Getting the Number Right

Order under 21630-23. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Öhlins states dimension a 43 mm, dimension b 50 mm, dimension c 54 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. A fork tube that has been bent is scrap: straightening changes the wall and it bends again. Axle clamps and lower legs are machined to hold the axle without distorting the fork.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21630-23

Category: Fork Parts

Dimension A: 43 mm

Dimension B: 50 mm

Dimension C: 54 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21630-23_cd811c98-99a6-4749-ad9f-03d51b8a954b.png?v=1788879765
