DescriptionThe whole story▼
Accossato supplies all seven hoses needed to braid the complete brake circuit on the ABS-equipped Yamaha MT-10, built between 2016 and 2020, running the lines through the bike's ABS system exactly as the factory does. The MT-10 is Yamaha's crossplane-engined flagship naked, and riders who use that performance on fast road rides notice the stock rubber hoses losing some precision once the brakes have been worked hard for several laps; a full braided set keeps the bite consistent as the session goes on.
Key Features
- Full seven-hose set for the ABS-equipped MT-10
- Covers both front and rear brake circuits, ABS system included
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Stainless steel fittings, the only finish offered for this part
- Packaged as a complete braided hose kit, ready to fit
Construction and Material Quality
Each of the seven lines pairs a stainless braid sheath with fittings made from stainless steel, supplied only bare on this part. Even without a painted fitting option, the twenty-colour braid range covers everything from a stealthy all-black set to brighter single-colour runs that stand out against the MT-10's angular bodywork.
Routing Through the ABS System
The higher hose count compared with the non-ABS, front-only kit Accossato lists for the 2016–2017 bike comes entirely from the ABS system built into this circuit; each of the seven hoses takes the path the original rubber line used into or out of that unit, so fitting the kit does not require touching the ABS hardware itself.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit fits the Yamaha MT-10 with ABS, built between 2016 and 2020, and the same part also covers the MT-10 SP of those years. Riders with the earlier non-ABS, front-only 2016–2017 MT-10 should instead use Accossato's three-hose kit, part AGA0056. Dealers stocking parts for both versions only need to hold one version of this kit, since the fitment tab lists both the standard bike and the SP against the same seven-hose part, which simplifies stock-keeping considerably.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 7 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Fittings such as banjo bolts and copper sealing washers are not listed as included, so it is worth checking the connecting hardware already on the bike before starting the job.
