A housing carries adjusters and their seals, so its bores matter as much as its outside.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 04750-14

Dimension A 47 mm

Dimension B 65.4 mm

Thread M47

What It Is

Dimensionally this is 47 mm, 65.4 mm, which is how it is told apart from the rest of the range. Öhlins machines housings from solid billet rather than casting them. Brackets and housings position the component precisely enough that it works as designed. A cracked bracket is a safety matter, not a cosmetic one.

Genuine Service Part

The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order.

Identifying the Right Part

Part number 04750-14 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. dimension a 47 mm, dimension b 65.4 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Housing threads carry the adjusters and are the part that suffers if the adjuster is forced. Brackets locate the damper or reservoir against the chassis and take the load in one direction only.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 04750-14

Category: Housings

Dimension A: 47 mm

Dimension B: 65.4 mm

Thread: M47

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/04750-14_081c4b51-151c-40fd-bb5b-a99791165035.png?v=1788873059
