Fork parts are specific to the fork, not to the motorcycle it happens to be fitted to.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Finish: gold

Öhlins part number 24003-01

Where It Sits

There is no measurement to check here — the number and the exploded view identify it. Inner tubes are coated because they run in bushings and seals for their whole life. A marked inner tube destroys seals repeatedly until it is replaced. Fork tubes are the structural part of the front end and carry the braking load into the yokes.

Original Öhlins Part

The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. Öhlins lists this part under its own number in the service catalogue so a workshop can order exactly what it needs. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise.

Identifying the Right Part

Order under 24003-01. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Top caps carry the adjusters and the preload mechanism. Axle clamps and lower legs are machined to hold the axle without distorting the fork.

Fitting and Setup Service

We are an authorised Öhlins service centre, so you do not have to source the tools and the nitrogen: send us the damper and we rebuild it with the correct parts and the correct setting.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 24003-01

Category: Fork Parts

Finish: Gold

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/24003-01_511494d5-aa53-4432-b7a9-6920b64b34a1.png?v=1788880668
