DescriptionThe whole story▼
End piece adjuster 1.5 COMP, Öhlins part number 15006-21. Click adjusters work through a needle in a seat; the detent spring gives the clicks their feel.
Key Features
- Original Öhlins service part
- Öhlins part number 15006-21
Function
Öhlins publishes no separate dimension for this position, so the part number carries the identity. Hydraulic preload adjusters are sealed and pressurised; they are replaced as a unit. Preload adjusters carry the full spring force and are built accordingly. Compression and rebound adjusters are not interchangeable even when they look similar.
Why the Original
Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order.
How to Be Sure It Fits
15006-21 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Hydraulic preload adjusters are sealed units and are replaced rather than opened. Compression and rebound adjusters are not interchangeable even when they look similar.
Fitting and Setup Service
A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.
