The spherical bearing in an end eye lets the damper follow the linkage without side load. Öhlins machines many eyes from the same billet as the damper body. Thread pitch on end caps is specific to the tube they close.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not.

Getting the Number Right

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 21120-20 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. dimension a 14 mm, dimension b 65 mm, dimension c 26 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. End caps seal the unit and carry the adjusters; they are matched to the tube they close. Eye width and bore diameter both have to match the chassis mount.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21120-20

Category: End Eyes

Dimension A: 14 mm

Dimension B: 65 mm

Dimension C: 26 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21120-20_90a8ae54-7349-4d57-87b8-fc34c2cd7a6b.png?v=1788879509
