Direct Damping System — How It Works

The DDS architecture uses independently operating damping circuits in an asymmetric layout. This separation of compression and rebound pathways reduces cross-talk between circuits and shortens reaction times, so the fork tracks surface changes rapidly without unsettling the chassis. A pre-pressurised spring force keeps the system primed in every ride scenario — from slow chicanes to high-speed braking zones — ensuring consistency whether you are commuting, touring or chasing lap times.

Cavitation-Free Performance

Cavitation — the formation of air bubbles in fork oil under rapid movement — is one of the most common causes of vague, inconsistent front-end feel. K-Tech's patented closed cartridge design prevents cavitation entirely, so the damping character you set at the clicker remains exactly what you feel through the bars, regardless of how hard you push.

Installation Note

Installation requires specialist tools and techniques. For maximum safety and optimum performance, K-Tech recommends fitting by an authorised K-Tech Service Centre. Special tools are included in the kit to facilitate the process.

Please note: this kit is not homologated for Superstock 1000 classes due to the modified travel specification (125 mm stroke, +8 mm length over standard).
