The JP CJP 074H is the programmable half of JetPrime's fuel range for the CB1000R, written over USB with their own software and reversible in a minute.

Honda detuned the superbike four for the roadster, moving the power down the rev range and flattening the delivery considerably.

An empty map means the motorcycle runs exactly as it did before, because every correction is nought. That is the safest possible starting point and it is where every session should begin.

The Standard Sensor Is Not Enough
A narrowband oxygen sensor only reports near stoichiometric. It cannot tell you what the mixture is doing at full load, which is exactly where you need to know.
A Map Is a File
Which means it can be saved, dated, copied, sent, restored and compared. Everything useful about a programmable unit follows from that one property.
Buying Second Hand
The unit transfers between identical motorcycles because nothing in it belongs to one machine. The harness is the part that has to match, not the box.
The Value of Repeating a Run
Any single measurement can be wrong. Two runs that agree are data; one run is an anecdote, and maps built on anecdotes behave like it.
The Sale Afterwards
A motorcycle offered with this unit should come with its map file and a note of the configuration it was written for. Without those the next owner inherits a blank sheet and a bill.
