The Fireblade is one of the most successful superbikes ever, and many are used at track days where the gearbox is worked hard. The Gilles Shiftholder for the Honda CBR 1000 RR of 2012 to 2019 supports the shift shaft outside the engine for precise, repeatable gear changes.

A track-day favourite
Lap after lap, hard upshifts at high revs load the shift mechanism. A supported shaft reduces the risk of a gear not engaging fully, which is both faster and safer on a circuit.

Gilles lists this Shiftholder for the Fireblade from 2012 to 2019, which covers several generations of the bike. Whichever one you ride, the principle is the same: the shaft is supported where it leaves the engine, so it cannot flex under the force of a hard shift.
Road Approval
This part needs no approval and no entry in the papers. It supports the gearbox shift shaft of the Honda CBR 1000 RR and leaves the rider controls and every approved characteristic of the motorcycle unchanged, so there is nothing for a testing organisation to assess.
