Riders who take a Triumph Street Scrambler through all seasons, load it for tours or carry a pillion often find the rear brake doing more work than expected. Accossato lists the AGPA76 rear pad for the Street Scrambler from 2017 to 2022, and in Sintered (ST) compound it is aimed at those who want steady rear braking in rain, in cold and under load.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato states that its ST recipe maintains a high, constant level of grip at both high and low temperatures and works well in the wet. On the AGPA76 plate for the Street Scrambler rear caliper, that gives a stable pedal feel whatever the conditions. The company, which won an Enduro world title in 1985, lists durability and fade resistance among its general aims.
Wet Weather and Heavy Loads
When the road is wet and the bike is carrying a passenger and bags, riders rely on the rear brake to help settle the machine before applying the front. A sintered pad that keeps its feel in those conditions is useful. After long wet rides, clean the caliper area, check the pads for uneven wear, and inspect the fluid colour in the rear reservoir. Replace pads in pairs and bed them in with moderate stops before a fully loaded trip.
Planning a Tour
Before a longer trip on the Street Scrambler, it pays to start with pads that still have plenty of material left rather than ones close to the limit. Replacing the rear pair before leaving means one less thing to think about on the road. Packing the heavier items low and forward also helps keep braking balanced when the bike is fully loaded.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGPA76 for the rear of the Triumph Street Scrambler, as Street 900 Scrambler, from 2017 to 2022. Front pads are AGPA72 for 2017 and 2018 and AGPA112 for 2019 to 2022. The single rear caliper takes one box, and the DK203 disc also appears for this bike. OR is the alternative compound for this rear shape.
Road Approval
