DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Honda MSX125 is not only a summer toy: many owners rely on it every day, whatever the weather. For the front brake of the MSX125 from 2014 to 2025, Accossato offers the AGPA160 in its Sintered (ST) compound. It is intended for riders who commute through rain and cold, who park the bike outside all year and who want a front lever that stays consistent from damp autumn mornings to warm summer evenings.
Key Features
- Front pads for the Honda MSX125, 2014 to 2025
- Article AGPA160ST: AGPA160 shape in ST
- Accossato claims high, stable grip at high and low temperatures
- Good bite on a wet disc
- Made for all-year riding and outdoor parking
- One box fits the single front caliper of the MSX125
- OR and EV1 are the alternatives on this shape
- No German ABE; offered for competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's description of ST speaks of a high and constant grip level whether cold or hot, and good performance in the wet. For a rider who meets both in the same week, that consistency makes the brake easy to trust. The firm also mentions a long lifespan, low wear, strong stopping force and restrained heating that limits fade.
Wet Streets and Winter Mornings
A bike parked outside overnight starts the day with a cold, damp disc. On the MSX125, whose small wheels react quickly to rough surfaces, riders need to know what the front brake will do at the first junction. ST is designed to give a steady response in those conditions and to stay the same as the day warms up. It is the choice for riders who do not want to swap pads with the seasons, and for those whose route crosses bridges, tram lines or shaded streets where the road stays wet long after the rain.
Clean road salt and grime from the caliper regularly, check the disc and pads, and change the brake fluid at the recommended interval. After fitting new pads, pump the lever until it is firm and bed them in progressively.
Fitment and Compatibility
This set fits the front of the Honda MSX125, model years 2014 to 2025, according to Accossato. For the rear of the MSX125, choose the AGPP181. A single box covers the one front caliper.
Road Approval
We hold no ABE for this front set, so it is sold for racing and sporting use.
