DescriptionThe whole story▼
A CRF250F kept for trail riding does not get to choose its weather. Club outings go ahead in drizzle, farm tracks stay wet until May, and a stream crossing can soak the front brake at any time of year. For owners of Honda's air-cooled trail bike from 2019 to 2024, Accossato offers the AGPA51 front pad in the Sintered mixture: a set meant for riders who ride in every season and want the lever to behave the same way on a soaked disc as on a dry one.
Key Features
- Front brake pads for the Honda CRF250F, 2019 to 2024
- Article AGPA51ST, the Sintered mixture on the AGPA51 backing
- According to Accossato, grip stays high and even from cold to hot
- Designed to keep biting on a wet disc
- Made for trail riders who ride twelve months a year
- The single front caliper takes one box
- Sibling versions: OR, STMX and EV1
- No ABE on file, for competition and off-road riding
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's claim for this mixture is twofold. Its grip level is high and stays constant, whether the pad is working cold on the first descent of the morning or hot after a long downhill section, and it continues to perform when the disc is wet. On a CRF250F that crosses water and mud as a matter of routine, those traits count for more than raw initial bite. The factory adds its general promise of long-lasting pads, limited heat build-up and resistance to fade, and the backing plate is the same AGPA51 used for every version of this pad.
Winter Club Rides
Trail clubs rarely cancel for rain, and a winter ride on the CRF250F often means an hour of wet ruts, splashes and slippery clay. Each time the disc is soaked, the pad has to push through a thin film of water before it grips. A mixture that recovers quickly keeps the rider's timing intact, which matters on steep, greasy descents where you want to brake before the slope, not on it.
Wet months also shorten pad life, as mud carries grit into the caliper. Rinse the brake gently after every muddy ride, check the pads more often than in summer, and refresh the fluid if it has turned dark. When changing pads, clean the pistons first, then pump the lever until it firms up and bed the set with a few steady stops.
Fitment and Compatibility
For the CRF250F, Accossato lists the AGPA51 at the front for the 2019 to 2024 seasons, while the AGPP72 covers the rear disc of the same bike. Should your riding change, OR, STMX and EV1 use the same outline. It is still worth laying an old pad beside the new set before fitting.
Road Approval
We have no ABE or German test certificate for this Sintered set in our files, so it is offered for competition and off-road riding.
Scope of Delivery
