DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Kawasaki KX100 is a two-stroke motocross bike for young riders moving up from the smallest classes, and many of them spend more time at practice tracks than at races. For the rear brake of the KX100, Accossato offers the AGPA111 pad in an Organic mixture. It fits the KX100 from 1988 to 2021 and is intended for young riders at practice days and for parents who maintain the bike and want a gentle brake that spares the disc.

Construction and Material Quality
For its Organic mixture, Accossato stresses long-lasting performance and reduced disc wear. On a KX100 used mainly for practice, those traits help parents keep running costs down across a season. The company also claims its pads limit fading by keeping heat moderate, and that they provide a firm stop. The compound is bonded to the AGPA111 plate.
Young Riders at Practice
A young rider learning motocross on a KX100 has a lot to think about: body position, throttle control, jumps and corners. A rear brake that responds gently and predictably is one less thing to worry about. The organic pad lets the rider learn how to use the pedal without the rear wheel locking at the first touch.
Many KX100 riders are looked after by a parent who acts as mechanic. Checking the brakes should be part of the routine before each practice: look at pad depth, make sure the pedal is firm and check the disc for damage.
After a muddy session, wash the bike and rinse the rear caliper. Because the KX100 has been produced over a long period, older bikes may have seized pistons; clean and free them before fitting new pads.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA111 for the rear brake of the Kawasaki KX100 from 1988 to 2021. In our data, Accossato lists no front pad or disc for this model. The box holds one set for the rear caliper. Compare old and new pads before fitting, especially on older bikes.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or German test documentation for AGPA111OR in our records. The pads are sold for competition use.
