The Yamaha WR 125R is light enough to tackle proper trails, and many owners take it off tarmac into woods, gravel pits and muddy lanes. Accossato lists its AGPP91 rear pad for the WR 125R of 2009 to 2016, and this listing is the Off-road sintered (STMX) compound. It is for riders who spend their weekends on dirt, ride through water crossings and sand, and want a rear brake designed for those conditions.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes STMX simply as its compound for off-road riders. The company has strong roots in off-road sport, including an Enduro World Championship title in 1985. The general aims of its pads, namely low wear, resistance to fade and strong braking, apply to this mix too.
Mud, Sand and Water
On a trail, the rear brake of a WR 125R is used constantly: to control speed on descents, to settle the bike before ruts and to slide the rear around tight turns. It is also covered in mud, sand and water for much of the day. STMX is intended for that environment, where abrasive grit and moisture work on pad and disc. Riders who ride through streams or sandy tracks will find the rear brake remains usable when conditions are at their worst.
After the Ride
Off-road riding is hard on brakes. After each outing, wash mud from the caliper, check that pads move freely, look at pad thickness and inspect the disc for grooves. Dirt left in the caliper wears everything faster.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPP91 for the WR 125R from 2009 to 2016. One rear caliper means one box. The DK031 disc from Accossato is also listed for this bike. Clean the pistons thoroughly before retracting them, check disc and fluid, pump the pedal until firm and bed in the pads with a few controlled stops.
Road Approval
No German ABE or test certificate is available to us. STMX is offered for off-road competition use.
