DescriptionThe whole story▼

This nickel-plated master cylinder carries the same German ABE 61454 as its black anodised sibling and keeps the 19 mm piston for dual-disc front brakes and the PRS 17-18-19 mm adjustable pivot distance, machined from solid billet aluminium. It ships as a complete kit with a smoke-grey oil reservoir featuring a transparent body and nickel-plated cylinder, plus all the mounting hardware needed, so the plated finish is the only real difference from the anodised version.

Key Features

  • 19 mm piston diameter, ideal for dual-disc braking systems
  • PRS pivot distance adjustable between 17, 18 and 19 mm
  • CNC-machined from solid billet aluminium, nickel-plated
  • Folding lever with ergonomics designed to suit the motorcycle's original dimensions
  • Smoke-grey oil reservoir kit included, with a nickel-plated cylinder body
  • Brake light switch included
  • Front adjuster for lever-to-handlebar distance, for any hand size
  • German ABE 61454, fully street-legal when carried with the bike

Construction and Material Quality

Machined from solid billet aluminium in the same process as the black anodised version, this body is nickel-plated rather than anodised, and the complete kit still includes a smoke-grey oil reservoir, here with a nickel-plated cylinder body, along with all the mounting hardware needed for a quicker installation. The lever carries a front adjuster that sets the distance to the handlebar with a simple rotation, independent of the PRS pivot setting, for any hand size. Zinc-plated steel bolts and an off-set bracket clamp complete the mounting hardware.

Dual-Disc Fluid Volume, Road-Legal Either Way

Like the black anodised version, the 19 mm piston on this nickel-plated master cylinder is sized for double-disc braking systems, and the PRS pivot distance moves across the same 17, 18 and 19 mm range, trading hand force for a shorter stroke as the offset increases. The German ABE 61454 approval carries over to this nickel-plated finish as well, so the choice between the two versions of this master cylinder comes down to the body's surface finish rather than to street-legality, which both share.

Fitment and Compatibility

Our fitment data lists 222 motorcycles for this master cylinder across Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, MV Agusta, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha, including the Aprilia TUONO V4 1100 FACTORY (2015-2023), the BMW S1000RR (2009-2019), the Ducati MULTISTRADA V4S (2021-2023), the Triumph SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RS (2021-2021) and the Yamaha TENERE 700 (2019-2023). See the Fitment tab on this page for the full list with exact model years, and check it against your own registration document before ordering. The same PRS 19x17-18-19 body is also sold as a separate product in a black anodised finish.

Road Approval

This master cylinder carries a German ABE, number 61454, making it street-legal for use in Germany; the ABE document must be carried with the motorcycle.

Scope of Delivery
