Accossato lists the YZF-R25 from 2014 to 2018 under the FC124, a quick-release fuel tank cap machined from aluminium with the pawl available in six colours.

Construction and Material Quality
The FC124 is entirely aluminium, machined on CNC equipment, with a new design Accossato puts forward as the reason to prefer it over the standard cap. The quick-closing pawl is what actually changes day to day, opening the tank with one movement and shutting it with another. Its pin takes the colour, blue, green, black, red, silver or gold as chosen at the time of ordering, and the pawl itself is listed separately as a spare part.

Riders new to track days often start on something close to the R25, a bike small enough that a mistake rarely becomes expensive and light enough to be forgiving when a line is misjudged or a brake marker missed entirely. Those early track days also mean more laps than a bigger bike might manage on the same tank, since a small single-cylinder engine sips fuel rather than draining it, and more laps means more pit stops where a slow-opening cap becomes a small but repeated irritation. Fitment and Compatibility
The YZF-R25 takes this FC124 across 2014 to 2018 according to Accossato, and that is the range covered here. Our shop lists the same cap for the Yamaha MT-03, the MT-125 and the FZ8 as well. We recommend comparing your particular machine against the application list before placing an order.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no German ABE or parts certificate for the FC124, which means we supply it for track use only. On the road, the YZF-R25 keeps its own cap, usually opened with the ignition key.
