DescriptionThe whole story▼
For the 2009–2015 generation, the 250SX's hydraulic clutch runs on the identical hose used across every other displacement in KTM's SX and SX-F range, a part kept entirely separate from either of the bike's own brake kits. Built as a single braided line in the C layout, it is offered only in stainless steel fittings, with no painted option.
Key Features
- Single braided clutch hose for the 2009–2015 250SX
- Clutch C-layout routing, matching the original line
- Stainless steel fittings only for this part
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Covers the clutch circuit only; brake hoses sold separately
Construction and Material Quality
Stainless aeronautical braid runs the length of this clutch line, closed with a stainless steel fitting at each end; there is no painted-fitting choice here, so the twenty sheath colours are the only way to vary its look. A single connection at the slave unit and another at the clutch master cylinder complete the fitting job.
One Clutch Code, Five Displacements
This same clutch part number also reaches the 125SX, 150SX and 350SX-F from the identical 2009–2015 run, and the four-stroke 250SX-F besides, so one hose covers every displacement either side of the 250 regardless of engine type. A rider wanting braided brake hoses for the 250SX needs AGA0261 instead, since neither of this bike's brake kits touches the clutch circuit. Confirming the part covers the clutch and not the brake circuit is worth doing before ordering, since the two systems are never bundled together under one code. Confirming the part covers the clutch and not either of the 250SX's brake kits is worth doing before ordering, since the two systems never share a code.
Fitment and Compatibility
Seven seasons, 2009 through 2015, is the window this clutch part covers for the 250SX. KTM fits the identical line to four other displacements from the same years: the 125SX and 150SX below it, and the 250SX-F and 350SX-F above. Nothing outside KTM's own badge appears on this code.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 1 braided hose for the Clutch layout. Connecting hardware such as banjo bolts and sealing washers is not listed as included, so it is worth checking the hardware already on the bike before starting the job. Once fitted, the circuit should be filled and bled by a competent workshop before the bike is ridden.
