This is the clutch-side counterpart to Accossato's Ready To Brake range, a black anodised radial master cylinder with a 16 mm piston and a PRS pivot distance adjustable between 15, 16 and 17 mm, a softer band of settings than the brake-side units since a clutch does not need the same immediacy as a front stopper. The Shark Design body takes the folding lever in any of seven colours, long or short, and on this black anodised version the adjusting knob and the reservoir cover are finished to match whichever lever colour is chosen.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato applies the same Ready To Brake engineering used on its brake master cylinders to this clutch unit, so the passive stroke is reduced across the PRS range of settings without the rider needing to adjust anything beyond picking a pivot distance. The off-set riser carries a quick-release jumper for easier servicing and reduces movement of the body in use, and the fittings, stainless steel mounting screws, a zinc-plated bleed valve and Formula 1 compound seals, are to the same specification Accossato uses across its radial master cylinders. Because this is a clutch circuit rather than a brake line, there is no brake light switch to integrate.
Why the Pivot Range Is Softer on the Clutch Side
This unit's PRS pivot distance runs between 15, 16 and 17 mm, noticeably softer than the 17-18-19 mm band used on Accossato's radial brake master cylinders, because a clutch lever benefits from a lighter, more gradual pull rather than the short, firm stroke a front brake needs. The 16 mm piston feeds the clutch slave cylinder through that range, and on this black anodised body the rider can also match the adjusting knob and reservoir cover to whichever of the seven lever colours is fitted, a detail Accossato reserves for the black anodised finish; the nickel-plated version keeps the lever, knob and cover in black.

Road Approval
This clutch master cylinder is not supplied with German road-approval documentation; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The package includes the Accossato Ready To Brake PRS 16x15-16-17 radial clutch master cylinder in black anodised finish, fitted with the folding lever, adjusting knob and reservoir cover in the colour, length and eyelet configuration ordered, stainless steel mounting screws, the zinc-plated bleed valve and the Formula 1 compound seals already assembled. The fluid reservoir is not included and must be purchased separately.
