Öhlins publishes an exploded view for every unit, and each position in it has its own number. Service parts make the difference between a damper that is rebuilt and one that is replaced. Individual parts let a workshop replace only what is worn.

Original Öhlins Part

Suspension is one of the few areas where the original part is genuinely the cheaper decision. Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise.

Getting the Number Right

Part number 06000-01 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Check dimension a 1 mm, dimension b 20 mm, dimension c 38.4 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. An original Öhlins service part, listed under its own number in the Öhlins spare parts catalogue. This part comes from the same production as the components it goes into.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 06000-01

Category: Service Parts

Dimension A: 1 mm

Dimension B: 20 mm

Dimension C: 38.4 mm

Thread: M14x1

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/06000-01_dbcb94f9-76b3-4327-a961-f44f097802c7.png?v=1788877268
