On a standard machine the panel is one restriction among ducting, throttle bodies and everything downstream of them, and it is rarely the one that sets the limit — which is why an element in an unmodified airbox does not make a standard motorcycle noticeably stronger. What a racing medium reliably changes is the maintenance regime it assumes: inspection between sessions rather than between services, with a wider weave paid for in the meantime. If that regime is not part of how this Tera is used, the standard P08 in the same housing is the better answer.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eCare and cleaning\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eDry throughout, and quick. Compressed air from the clean face outward is a complete service in normal use, and the PM153S F1-85 can be refitted at once afterwards. When it has been soaked, lukewarm water with a mild detergent and a rinse until the water runs clear, followed by a full dry in moving air — heat of any kind, from a gun, a radiator or a flame, ends the element. Put it back dry and untreated, seated evenly in its frame.
