DescriptionThe whole story▼
Part number FFX 1302 is what Öhlins supplies for the Beta RR 2T 250 Racing, model years 2019–2025. The front end is where a rider's confidence is won or lost on the RR 2T 250 Racing.
Key Features
- Ships with spring 08765-43
- Damper stroke 301 mm
- Built for the Beta RR 2T 250 Racing (2019–2025); fits without modification
How the Fork Works
301 mm is the stroke Öhlins specifies against the RR 2T 250 Racing's ratio. Öhlins builds it to 940 mm between the eyes for this chassis. The recommended oil is 1330; using something else changes the damping the shim stack was set for. Spring 08765-43 is what ships with the damper; harder and softer rates are available. Öhlins supplies a baseline setting sheet with the fork. Preload is adjusted separately from damping, and the two should not be confused.
Setting It Up for the RR 2T 250 Racing
This part number spans model years 2019 to 2025; earlier and later generations take different numbers. Track use raises oil temperature quickly, and a damper that fades takes confidence with it. A 250 cc machine of this type sits in a specific weight band, and Öhlins picks the spring rate for that band rather than for the platform.
How Öhlins Builds It
Tube diameter, offset and axle clamp are all specified per model so the assembly drops into the standard yokes. Two units carrying the same part number behave the same way out of the box, which is the whole point of testing each one. Every unit is dyno-tested against the curve held for its part number, not sampled from a batch.
About the RXF 48 S Range
The RXF 48 is Öhlins' motocross and enduro fork, and the S version adds the spring conversion — a coil spring in place of the air system many current forks use. Compression and rebound are adjusted separately at the fork tops, in clicks rather than by feel. Air springs need checking before every ride and change their rate as they heat; a coil does neither.
Fitment and Compatibility
Part number FFX 1302 and the Beta RR 2T 250 Racing (2019–2025) belong together; other model years take other numbers. Öhlins releases the same number for 4 closely related machines; this listing is the Beta RR 2T 250 Racing version of that fitment. Öhlins notes for this application: 08765- spring series *Replaces FFX 0302*
Road Approval

Fitting and Setup Service
