- Complete street control set
- Black anodised Ergal 7075

- Sealed switch elements

The Offset Version
Staggered fasteners for one of the two clamps. Ducati uses both across the range and only the handlebar can tell you which is on a particular motorcycle.
Drawn for This Bar
Flat, wide and high, with a cable run peculiar to the Scrambler. A dedicated mounting geometry keeps the assembly sitting where it should at full lock.
One Part Number Only
Ducati offers the block complete. The switches are moulded into it during manufacture and cannot be separated, so a single hesitant contact costs the whole thing.
A Slow Decline
Oxidation adds resistance to a terminal rather than breaking it. The control works, then works sometimes, then does not, across the better part of a year.
The Same Part Every Time
Machining holds a dimension for as long as the programme runs. Injection tools wear steadily and late parts differ from early ones in ways that only show at fitting.
No Markings to Lose
Nothing is printed on this body, so ultraviolet has nothing to remove. On a bike parked outdoors year-round that is visible after a couple of summers.
Seventy-Three Horsepower
From the air-cooled Desmodue. It is enough for what the Scrambler is and Ducati resisted every temptation to make it more complicated than that.
A Low Seat
Ducati kept the Scrambler genuinely accessible where the rest of the range is not. It reaches riders who would never have walked into the showroom otherwise.
Simple, Not Cheap
No riding modes and no electronic throttle on most versions. That simplicity makes the mechanical quality of what sits on the handlebar considerably more noticeable.
