DescriptionThe whole story▼

Accossato's AGPA92 front pad in Sintered (ST) form fits the Zero DSR of 2016 and 2017 with the ZF13.0 battery. The DSR was always the electric dual-sport of the range, and plenty of owners ride it through every season, on mountain passes, with a passenger or with panniers loaded for a weekend away. The sintered mix is aimed at exactly those riders: people who want the lever to feel the same in November drizzle as it does on a warm afternoon in June.

Key Features

  • AGPA92 front set for the Zero DSR 2016-2017 (ZF13.0)
  • Sintered (ST) compound for all-season riding
  • Accossato cites steady grip across hot and cold temperatures
  • Strong bite on wet roads, according to the maker
  • Consistent lever feel with luggage or a pillion
  • Alternatives for this pad: OR, EV1, EV2, ZXC
  • Two pads in the box, one caliper covered

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato says its sintered mixture holds a high and constant level of grip whether the pad is hot or cold, and that it grips well in the wet. That is the core promise here: a friction level that does not wander as conditions change during a long day. The manufacturer also notes that its pads keep heat build-up in check, which reduces fade when the brakes are used repeatedly on a descent.

Rain, Passes and a Loaded Bike

Picture a wet autumn ride over an Alpine pass on the Zero DSR, top box full and a pillion behind you. On the way down the brakes work hard and the surface keeps changing between damp shade and dry sun. A sintered pad is designed for that kind of day, delivering a predictable response each time you squeeze the lever. The DSR's regeneration helps on long descents, yet the front pads still handle the decisive stops. Riders who keep the bike on the road through winter salt should also rinse the calipers regularly and check that the pistons move freely.

Fitment and Compatibility

This set belongs on the front of the 2016 to 2017 Zero DSR ZF13.0, as listed by Accossato. The 2023 DSR ZF17.3-X uses the AGPA96 front pad, so the two are not interchangeable. For the rear, choose AGPP91 on the earlier bike or AGPA29 on the 2023 model. Swap both pads of a caliper at once and give new pads a series of moderate stops before relying on full power.

Road Approval

Accossato supplies no test documents or German ABE to us for this item; we therefore offer it for race and competition use.

Scope of Delivery

You receive two sintered brake pads, sufficient for one caliper. If your front wheel has more than one caliper, order accordingly.
