DescriptionThe whole story▼

Autumn club rounds and winter training on a Husqvarna TC 250 bring grey skies, wet ground and early starts. The front brake then has to cope with water on the disc and cold pads at the first gate drop. Accossato's AGPA29 front pad in the Sintered compound, SKU AGPA29ST, is made for that, and it is listed for model years 2014 to 2022. It is aimed at riders who ride through all twelve months and want a front lever whose feel does not depend on the weather forecast.

Key Features

  • Sintered front pads for the Husqvarna TC 250
  • Model years 2014 to 2022, reference AGPA29ST
  • Accossato claims constant, high grip at any temperature and good wet bite
  • Repeatable lever point in the rain
  • Useful for winter series and autumn rounds
  • Alternatives in the same outline: OR, STMX, EV1
  • Motorsport use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato describes the Sintered compound as one that keeps grip high and steady across temperatures and continues to bite in the wet. On a TC 250 racing through the colder months, that is the key trait: the lever should feel the same on the sighting lap as at the end of the second moto. The friction block is fitted to the AGPA29 plate, so it is a straight swap for the front caliper.

Gate Drops in the Cold and Wet

A two-stroke 250 arrives at the first corner very quickly, and on a wet track the front brake has to be squeezed with precision. A consistent lever lets the TC 250 rider brake at the same point lap after lap without guessing how the pads will react. Cold, damp mornings in the paddock are no problem either: the Sintered mix does not need heat before it grips properly, which matters for the first practice session of the day.

After a wet event, rinse the caliper with a gentle stream, dry the rotor and check the fluid before loading the bike for the next round.

Fitment and Compatibility

We list AGPA29 for the front caliper of the Husqvarna TC 250 from 2014 to 2022; Accossato's own entry covers a broader range, of which we only take the years in our data. The rear equivalent is AGPP80, and the discs DK017 and DK018 are available. Compare the old pads with this set before installing it on the TC 250.

Road Approval

An ABE or approval certificate for these pads is not available to us, so they are intended for racing.

Scope of Delivery

Two Sintered front pads, a set for one caliper.
