DescriptionThe whole story▼
Machined from 100% Ti1 titanium and finished with a natural brushed surface, the Vandemon Slip-On Low exhaust system is a masterclass in lightweight precision engineering. Designed specifically for the Ducati Panigale V4/S/R (2018-2021), it strips the drivetrain down to essentials — removing the heavy OEM stainless steel catalytic converter and replacing it with a system that weighs just 2.8 kg without silencers, and 3.0 kg complete.
Key Features
- Ti1 titanium construction throughout — outstanding corrosion resistance, superb heat tolerance, and tight-radius bends formed without risk of cracking
- Massive weight reduction over the OEM exhaust, delivering measurable gains in acceleration, direction changes and braking distances
- Twin 60 mm oval titanium slip-on silencers fitted with carbon fibre end caps — high-strength, heat-resistant, and visually striking
- Adjustable sound output: 98 dB with DB killers installed, 106 dB without (measured at 5,500 rpm) — suitable for road and track use
- Up to +6% power increase following individual engine mapping
- Four M12x1.25 mm O2 sensor bungs for precise fuel injection tuning
- Reduced heat radiated from beneath the motorcycle, improving rider comfort in warm conditions and simplifying access for maintenance
Build Quality and Materials
Vandemon specifies Ti1 grade titanium for every structural element of this exhaust. Ti1 is the purest commercially available titanium alloy, offering an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio alongside resistance to the extreme temperatures generated at race pace. Unlike stainless steel systems that retain and radiate heat aggressively, the titanium construction manages thermal energy more efficiently — a practical advantage on a machine as tightly packaged as the Panigale V4.
The natural brushed finish is not merely cosmetic. It provides a clean, low-maintenance surface that resists oxidation and ages gracefully with use, developing the characteristic titanium heat colouration that marks a genuinely hard-worked exhaust. The carbon fibre end caps on the oval silencers complement the titanium body with matching low weight and high heat resistance.
Performance and Track Use
The Vandemon Slip-On Low is designed from the outset for racing and performance tuning. The removal of the OEM catalytic converter and the use of Ti1 titanium reduce unsprung and low-centre mass simultaneously, sharpening the chassis response the Panigale V4 is already celebrated for. With individual engine remapping, Vandemon documents a power increase of up to +6% — a figure that rewards the investment in a proper dyno session and tailored fuelling map.
Sound levels are selectable via the included DB killer inserts: 98 dB for circuits with noise limits, 106 dB for unrestricted track days or competition use. The four M12x1.25 mm O2 sensor bungs ensure your tuner has everything needed to extract the maximum from the engine map.
