Hose-mounted reservoirs allow installation where a piggyback would foul the chassis. The separating piston or bladder inside keeps gas and oil apart; if it fails, the damping goes with it. Reservoir caps carry the gas valve and are torqued to a specification.

Why the Original

Every part in this catalogue is one Öhlins fits itself during assembly and service. Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand.

Identifying the Right Part

Part number 00637-26 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. The published dimensions are dimension a 10 mm, dimension b 10 mm, dimension c 550 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. The reservoir holds the gas charge and the oil volume the damper displaces as the shaft enters it. Fittings are specific to the hose and the housing they connect.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00637-26

Category: Hoses

Dimension A: 10 mm

Dimension B: 10 mm

Dimension C: 550 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00637-26_6f7c1d7c-79b7-4c5c-8aaa-5b0771380b07.png?v=1788870011
