A hose-mounted reservoir lets the damper be fitted where a piggyback would not go. Hose length is specific to the installation and cannot be substituted freely. A separating piston or bladder keeps nitrogen and oil apart; if it fails the damping goes with it.

Why the Original

Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier.

Getting the Number Right

Part number 00637-09 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Öhlins states dimension a 10 mm, dimension b 10 mm, dimension c 350 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Fittings are specific to the hose and the housing they connect. Öhlins pressure-tests hoses because they carry the full gas charge.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00637-09

Category: Hoses

Dimension A: 10 mm

Dimension B: 10 mm

Dimension C: 350 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00637-09_5b51e057-29d3-416f-b0b1-c7f187165fd4.png?v=1788869989
