The element stays available no matter how few RVS #1s were built. Second, because it is cleaned rather than replaced, most owners will never order a second one at all. The airbox on an RVS #1 is the airbox from the rest of the range, and the element that belongs in it is the one MV Agusta specified for a Brutale. What changes with this filter is not the specification but the medium: dry polyester with roughly double the filtering surface, so the intake starts from a lower restriction and stays there far longer than paper can.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eCare and cleaning\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eBlow it through from the clean side with compressed air, working outwards. For a deeper clean, wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, rinse until the water runs clear, and dry fully in air — never with heat, never with a flame. Refit dry.
