How to measure your helmet size correctly: To find the right helmet size, measure your head circumference with a flexible tape measure.
It is important that the tape measure runs around the widest part of the head – only then will you get a correct result.
Place the tape measure at the front, about 1–2 cm above the eyebrows, and run it along the sides above the ears.
At the back, the tape must run over the largest part of the back of the head (not too low on the neck). The tape may run slightly at an angle – what matters is that it sits all the way around the largest points of the head.
Make sure the tape measure sits snugly but does not dig in. Measure 2–3 times for the most accurate result. You can then compare the measured value in centimetres (cm) with our size chart.
Tips for an accurate result
- Keep hair flat (e.g. do not measure over a voluminous hairstyle)
- Keep the tape horizontal, i.e. along the largest circumference
- Do not measure too loosely
- For values between two sizes:
→ usually choose the larger size (depending on helmet model / fit)
Important note on fit
The right helmet should fit firmly without causing uncomfortable pressure points.
A new helmet may feel a little tighter at first, as the inner lining adapts slightly over time.

The GP 800 Master carries the ECE 22.06 homologation, the toughest version of the pan-European helmet approval regulation and the benchmark required for competition use across most circuits. Airoh's HPC Carbon construction delivers a high strength-to-weight ratio, keeping the shell rigid and energy-absorbing under impact whilst the three shell sizes ensure the liner fits each head circumference correctly — a factor that directly affects how well impact energy is managed. The AEFR emergency fast-release system allows medical personnel to remove the helmet without twisting or levering, reducing the risk of aggravating a neck injury in the event of an accident.
Visor and Visibility
The extra-wide 2D racing visor pairs with a Pinlock 120 XLT MAX VISION anti-fog insert included in the box, providing a virtually fog-free view across the full width of the visor in virtually all weather conditions. The Lock System Racing keeps the visor firmly seated at speed, while scratch and UV resistance extend service life. When conditions change, the ATVR system lets you swap to the included dark smoke visor in seconds, without tools.
Interior Comfort
Inside, the fully removable and washable liner is constructed from Coolmax Superior Performance technical textiles with 2DRY moisture management, MICROSENSE softness treatment and SANITIZED antibacterial processing — keeping the interior fresh over long riding days. The AMLS magnetic lining retention system holds panels securely in place while allowing quick removal, and the ASN sliding net reduces friction and pressure on the cheeks during longer sessions.
