The Tuono V4 1100 is the naked RSV4 with more displacement. The JP PD AP009 replaces its right-hand switch block in milled Ergal.

Seventy-Seven Cubic Centimetres More
Aprilia took the Tuono to 1077 cc in 2015 while leaving the superbike at a litre. The extra capacity went into midrange rather than peak power, which is exactly what a naked bike with upright bars needed.
A Hundred and Seventy-Five Horsepower, No Fairing
The Tuono has led the hyper-naked class through several generations of challengers, mostly because nothing else puts a V4 in this format. Riders who own one rarely describe anything they buy afterwards as an improvement.
The Hands Take the Weather
With only a token flyscreen, the rider's hands sit directly in the airflow and in whatever the road throws up. Switchgear on a naked bike leads a harder life than the same part behind a fairing.
Universal Holes
The clamp accepts the original master cylinder and the radial units many owners fit. It is one part number rather than two, and the ordering error it prevents is the most common one in this category.
Sealed Inside a Machined Body
The elements are enclosed rather than sitting behind a clipped plastic cover. On a bike ridden in the rain because it is the one in the garage, that is the property that determines how long the switches last.
Three Anodised Finishes
Black, red and titanium, converted into the aluminium. Aprilia's own Tuono liveries carry red, which makes that option a continuation of the tank rather than an addition to the bar.
No Loom Work
The connector is the motorcycle's own. Nothing is spliced and nothing needs coding, which on a bike with this much electronic management is worth more than it sounds.
