The JP ES 021 closes the sidestand circuit on the CBR 300 R so it runs with the stand removed.

Same Part, Bigger Single
Honda enlarged the 250 to 286 cc for 2015 and left the electrical architecture alone. The sidestand circuit is identical, which is why one eliminator covers both.
Thirty Horsepower
Four more than the 250 and delivered with noticeably more midrange. It made the bike considerably easier to ride quickly without changing what it was for.
Why the Stand Goes
A track day scrutineer would rather not see one, and a bike that has been dropped with a stand fitted usually has a bent one anyway. Removing it is standard preparation.
What Happens Next
The circuit reads open, the ECU treats that as a deployed stand and the engine cuts in gear. This unit tells it otherwise.
Three Model Years
Honda sold the CBR 300 R from 2015 to 2017 before the CBR 500 R took over that part of the range. The loom is consistent across all three.
Nothing Spliced
The original connector is used. Reversing the modification is a matter of unplugging one part and plugging the switch back in.
A First Track Bike
Small Hondas are bought second-hand specifically for this, often by riders who have never modified anything. The parts need to be straightforward and this one is.
Five Minutes
The connector sits near the swingarm pivot and is reached without removing bodywork. It is the least demanding job on the whole preparation list.
Keep It Off the Road
On a motorcycle that still carries a stand, an active interlock is worth having. This part belongs on a bike that no longer has one.
