DescriptionThe whole story▼
A guard for the swingarm with a slider built into it. On a 200 horsepower superbike both of the things it defends against are realistic: a chain that lets go under load, and a slide with the bike on its side.
Key Features
- Swingarm guard with integrated slider, direct replacement
- 200 Plain or 245 Twill weave, clear coat, matt, satin or raw
- Autoclave-cured laminate across the chain-side face
- Original mounting points, original fasteners
- Covers the whole 2018 to 2024 production run
Why the Slider Is There
In a slide the swingarm is one of the first structures to touch, and unlike bodywork it is not a bolt-on. The slider is a sacrificial pad in front of it, shaped to skid rather than dig in.
It will be destroyed doing its job. That is the design intent, and replacing a scuffed guard afterwards is the cheap outcome.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati Panigale V4 S, model years 2018 to 2024, on the original mounts. Paddock stand bobbins frequently share these threads — check what is already fitted before ordering.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this part. Some championships specify what a slider may be made of — read the regulation before assuming a carbon one qualifies.
Gearing Changes the Clearance
A different front or rear sprocket moves the chain line, and on a bike with this much torque the chain does not sit still under load either. The clearance drawn for standard gearing is not automatically the clearance you have.
After a sprocket change, turn the wheel by hand through a full revolution with the guard fitted and watch the gap. Contact under load is what wears a hole in a guard from the inside.
