DescriptionThe whole story▼
The CFMOTO 450 SR has become a familiar sight on early roads: a small, fully faired sports machine that riders use for everything, from a dark commute in February to a long day in the hills in June. Accossato has listed the AGPA177 pad for its front wheel across four model years, from 2023 to 2026, and the letters closing this article number mark the Sintered (ST) material, described by the company as holding its grip high and even in heat and cold and as coping with a wet disc.
Key Features
- Front brake pads for the CFMOTO 450 SR, model years 2023 to 2026
- AGPA177ST: the AGPA177 outline in the Sintered (ST) material
- Accossato names grip that stays high and even, cold or hot, and holds on a wet disc
- Two pads in a box, the set for one caliper
- Count the calipers on the front wheel of your 450 SR before ordering
- The EV1, EV2 and ZXC materials are pressed in the same outline
- The rear wheel of the 450 SR is covered by the AGPP181, 2023 to 2026
- No German ABE on file; supplied for competition and circuit use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato, based at Villastellone just outside Turin, presses the AGPA177 outline in several friction materials, and the one carried by this article number is meant for riders who do not get to choose their days. The claim attached to it is consistency: grip that sits high whether the pad is cold at the start of a journey or hot at the end of a descent, and behaviour on a wet disc that does not force anybody to rethink the first squeeze of the lever. On a 450 SR used all year, and often in the dark, that steadiness is the difference between trusting the front and testing it.
Leaving Before Sunrise
A commute that starts in the dark has rules of its own. The bike has stood outside overnight, the disc is cold and wet with dew, the tyre is stiff, and the first roundabout arrives before anything has warmed through. Riders who do this on a 450 SR learn to treat the opening stretch as a rehearsal: gentle applications to dry the disc and wake the tyre, a wider line where frost lingers under a hedge, and no hurried lever work until the machine has come up to temperature.
The same routine pays at the other end of the year. A machine used through every season collects grime in the front caliper, and grime holds water against the pad. Rinse it when the bike is washed, keep an eye on the material from both sides of the wheel, and renew the brake fluid at sensible intervals rather than waiting for the lever to complain. When a new pair goes in, bed it deliberately in daylight on a dry road; a wet, dark Monday is a poor moment to find out how fresh material feels.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato covers the 450 SR with the AGPA177 at the front from 2023 to 2026, which takes in the whole run of the model as listed, so owners of any of those seasons are looking at the right article. One box is the pair for one caliper, and counting the calipers on the front wheel is the quickest way to know how many to order. Renew both sides at once. The rear wheel of the 450 SR takes the AGPP181 across the same four years, and the Accossato disc programme has nothing for this model.
Road Approval
No German ABE and no test paperwork exist for the AGPA177ST in our records, so it is sold as a competition part rather than as road equipment.
Scope of Delivery
